Been a long time since I've had empty canvases in front of me. Usually I endlessly add, remove & cover up on a canvas (sometimes for years) before I come to a point where I actually believe it to be "finished". I plan on making some major changes to her before she is done, such as using charcoal to darken her up a bit & then applying paint around her, sort of in a dragging effect to make the background look smoky & a bit more textured.

Hopefully I'll be able to work on her some more this afternoon & have more progress pics to share. Hope everyone's Sunday is beautiful!
